6 Great Vacation States

There are many great states to visit on vacation.  Here are a handful of the top ones.  

1.    Florida - You can visit Disneyworld, Sea World, Universal Orlando, Cape Canaveral and more. Nature lovers can go to the Everglades National Park and Forever Florida wildlife conservation area. Water lovers enjoy swimming, diving, boating and kayaking.

2.    Hawaii - The Hawaiian Islands have breathtaking scenery, live volcanoes and fun water sports. You can visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the famous Waikiki Beach, and Pearl Harbor. There is bicycling, hiking, wale-watching, bird watching swimming and diving. Enjoy eight major islands, several atolls and many small islands.

3.    California -There are great tourist attractions in Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco.  For nature lovers there are 7 National Parks to visit.  For wine lovers there is Napa Valley. For ocean lovers you can go Whale Watching, fishing and boating.

4.    Colorado - The beauty of this state will amaze and delight.  Colorado is a great state for outdoor as well as indoor activities.  You can go skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, rock climbing, whitewater rafting and fishing. You can also enjoy museums, historical sites and National Parks.  

5.    Texas -   In San Antonio you can visit the Alamo, walk the river walk and visit natural bridge caverns. In Dallas you can visit Dealey where Lee Harvey Oswald shot John Kennedy, the Dallas World Aquarium.  Make sure you try some Texas Barbecue while in Dallas.  In Austin you can swim in the Barton pool (fed by the Barton natural underground springs) and see the millions of Austin Bats leave the Congress Bridge. Visit the state capital is Austin that was modeled after the capital in Washington D.C.

6.    Massachusetts - has many fun, historical and educational activities to offer. In Boston you can walk the red brick line of the Freedom Trail, go whale watching, or see the New England Aquarium. In Salem you can see where the witch trials were held. In Plymouth Massachusetts you can see where the Pilgrims landed. There is also Nantucket Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard to explore.
